My Birthday!

       Hello! It's JessieGirl!
Don't you love your birthday?
When is yours? Mine is in December!  Here are some pictures of my birthday party with me and my friends at
                                        Sky High, dinner and more...

Here is the fabulous cake that my
                                    AM(awesome mom) made...
                                               great right??

And these amazing, delicious chocolate chip,
 covered chocolate with
crushed candy canes on them are my favorite...

                                                       These were really good too!

We all made some of these! My friends made 3-4 packages to
take home to share and eat!
                                              YUM!

Here is one of the games that we did!
It was really fun, but challenging!
This is the Candy Cane Elevator! My AM got some Good & Plenty Candy                 and put 3 on each elevator and the object of the game was to try and get the Good & Plenty candy into your mouth by pulling the string from behind your           ears...this was also a lot of fun but it was also challenging!

                     Molly                Hayden               Kasey
Here are some amazing pictures of my awesome friends!

Me opening my presents from my friends...

Dinner: Full of pizza, pop, cake and cookies...
And we are off to Sky High!

Me doing my amazing flip (aren't you proud?),

Hayden does Gymnastics, so she was doing all sort
                             of amazing stuff! GO HAYDEN!

Thanks for taking your time to read the blog!
                                           And thanks guys
                               for coming! Best birthday ever!

Christmas Time!

Hello, it's JessieGirl!
What is your favorite season?
Mine is...
CHRISTMAS!!
Do you already have your decor up? We do!
Do you like Christmas? I really do!
Here are some pictures of our house, decorated...

Here are our stockings all set up for Santa to come and fill them up
and our living room to be full of presents(wink wink),

I just took a picture a the door because I love all the special effects on PicMonkey,
for Christmas, so I just decided to do it for fun!

Here is a picture of our gingerbread manger that I made a few years ago
with my Nana!

Here is the Christmas Tree in our living room that JacobDude and
I put little inexpensive gifts under for our family!

Here is our little Snow Man tree.

Here is picture of our advent tree with little houses on it! Every day we open a little house ornament.  Inside are two chocolate kisses.
We love eating them with our breakfast for 25 days in a row.

Hope that you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!   ~ JessieGirl

A Lego Candle

Hi, it's JessieGirl!
Today I am going to teach you how to make a
Lego Candle!
First you are going to need these certain kind of
                                                          Lego pieces, look here...

                          1. 13 white curvy pieces
                          2. 16 red curvy pieces
                          3. 1 black 4-4 piece
                          4. 4 black circle pieces
                          5. 3 1/4 curvy square pieces
                          6. 4 1-1 neon yellow flat squares
                          7. 1 neon cone
                          8. 4 white 1-1 squares
Here is a picture to help with all of the pieces...

First you take the black 4-by-4 piece for the base of your candle...

Then after that you take the first layer of
the white and red curvy pieces and stack them on the black...

After that you put another stack of those on top of the red...

Here is the tricky part...you take the 3 1/4 curvy square piece
and stack them together, like this...

Smush them all together and put it on top of the red layer,

After that step you build your next red layer on top of the white that you just made  and put on top of the 2nd red layer,

Then after that, you stack the four black pieces together...like this,

Then push them down inside until they don't go down anymore, as seen below...
After one of those last steps you take your very last curved white piece
and put it on one of the red,

Hang on, we aren't done yet, because after that step you
start put the neon yellow flat squares on,

And then...WA-LA! You have finished your candle!

Thanks for taking you time to read this!

HALLOWEEN!

                Hi it's JessieGirl!
Halloween is coming up! It's just around the corner!
           October 31!
What are you going to dress up as? Me? I am going to be a skeleton cook!
                            SPOOKY right...no, not really.
Here are some pictures of my decorated house...

When I was on PicMonkey (where I edit my photos) there was a pumpkin at the bottom  of when you edit the photo. So, of course, I clicked on it and it had all of these different fonts and cute little characters and things for Halloween! So, I decided that I should use them (my mom wasn't so thrilled what I did with them, but I think that they are cute)!

I added all these spooky things into them that I thought would be funny!
(Mom didn't think they were that funny, but that's just Mom)

Can you believe we have crows inside our house?!

Pumpkins are part of the season, aren't they?!

And here are some pictures of Jacob and I in our Halloween costumes,
quite a few years ago!

2004   A pirate and a princess.

2006  A princess and a dragon.

2007  A cheerleader and a pirate.

Hope that you and your family have a...
VERY MERRY HALLOWEEN!
Oh, wait...scratch that.
Hope that you and your family have a...
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Banana-Nut Chip Bread

      Hi! It's JessieGirl!
Today I am going to teach you how to make one of my favorite desserts...
BANANA-NUT CHIP BREAD!

My AN (Awesome Nana) and I made it together!

Here are the ingredients...

1-1/2 cups mashed ripe banana's (about 3 medium)

           1-1/4 cups sugar

3 eggs

           1/3 cup vegetable oil

1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2-1/4 cups all purpose flour

3/4 cup quick cooking oats

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

 1 teaspoon baking powder

           1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped walnuts

In a mixing bowl beat bananas, sugar, eggs, oil, & vanilla.
Combine all of the dry ingredients; stir into banana mixture.
Fold in chocolate chips & nuts.

Pour the mix into two greased 8-in.x 4-in.x 2in. loaf pans.

It smelled really good, even before it was baked!

Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.
Then let it cool for 10-12 minutes.
Then you have 2 loaves of your...

                                     DELICIOUS BANANA-NUT CHIP BREAD!

When my family tasted it...
they started saying how DELICIOUS it was and how much they loved it!

Hope you enjoy it, too!
